A Helping Hand was developed and created by Peter H. Messimore, who has been in the Geriatric Field for over twenty years. He has worked in every aspect of home care, from a care provider, Service Coordinator, Regional Director and CEO. Mr. Messimore knows and understands how important it is for you to be able to count on him and his organization to follow through. Mr. Messimore has lived on the Western Slope of the Sierras (Pollock Pines) for over thirteen years. Mr. Messimore holds the following Certificates: Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, First Aid, CPR and has extensive training in Dementia/Alzheimer’s care (National Memory Impairment Institute). He is a certified Activity Director and is licensed with the state as an RCFE administrator.

You will always have direct access to Mr. Messimore or one of his assistants 24/7. He understands life happens and you are counting on him and his services for your emergency and non-emergency needs.

All the professional office and field staff at A Helping Hand are employees of A Helping Hand. Each professional staff member is fully bonded, insured and covered under Workers Compensation. Additionally All employees have had thorough criminal background checks and have been finger printed.
